Dr. Chux Daniels
Dr. Chux Daniels, PhD, is currently a Teaching Fellow in Innovation Studies at SPRU (Science Policy Research Unit), School of Business, Management and Economics, University of Sussex, United Kingdom. His teaching, research and consultancy interests include: Science, Technology and Innovation (STI); Public Policies and Policymaking; Capabilities for Policymaking; International Development; Business and Management; Leadership and Strategy. Dr. Daniels is a Visiting Research Fellow at various STI and Public Policy Institutes, and has held various lecturing, research, management, leadership and consultancy positions in academia and world-class corporate establishments.
Dr. Daniels is currently a member of the African Union Commission (AUC) M&E Committee on the "Science, Technology and Innovation Strategy for Africa" (STISA-2024). He is also the Lead Consultant for KPMG Tanzania on Research and Innovation Funding Capacity, advising the Tanzanian Government Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH). Dr. Daniels was, in 2015, a consultant to the University of the Virgin Islands Research & Technology Park Corporation (RTPark). Prior to joining SPRU, University of Sussex in 2011, Dr. Daniels worked in sectors that include Information Technology, Management, Marketing, International Business and Consultancy. This career lifespan has covered major organisations in finance and consulting (KPMG), technology (Fujitsu Services), energy and construction (Mace Group), and international development (DFID - Department for International Development, UK Government).
